THE BRADFIELD FESTIVAL OF MUSIC 2008

Below will be a summary of the concerts for next year’s festival. All concerts start at 7.30 pm, except for the Festival Choral Evensong on Sunday 22nd June (which is at 6.30 pm).
NOTE: For children under seventeen years of age, tickets for all (paying) concerts are £1 per ticket.

23/6 - Ensemble 360 ( Sheffield - based Wind Group ) - £8
24/6 - Tasmin Little (violin) with John Lenehan (piano) - £18
25/6 - John Lenehan - piano recital - £12
26/6 - Meirion String Ensemble (all members of the Halle Orchestra) - £10
27/6 - Yorkshire Imperial Metals Brass Band - £8.
28/6am Sheffield Schools Music Service/ Award winners recital - £3
28/6 - a 'Gilbert and Sullivan Evening' -£10

Children under 17 can attend any concert for £1

Performances take place at The Church of St Nicholas, Bradfield.

We went to the Lindsays concert in 2005 and found the location to be idyllic.
I remarked on this to the Rector and he told me that at his first festival, he had welcomed a local farmer to "Yorkshire's answer to Glyndebourne."

Came the reply, "B*****r Glyndebourne. This is better!"
